CARRIE PITTS
Counseling Practicum Student
Ms. Carrie Pitts has joined us for her Liberty University Practicum, from August to December, 2024 with her Internship beginning in 2025. We are thrilled to have her as she has life experience and ministry experience that will serve our clients well as she learns the professional role as a Christian Counselor.
Carrie was born and raised in Upstate New York and moved to North Carolina in 2005 to work in administrative career in television in the NASCAR Racing field. Carrie has been raising her two incredible daughters while going to college. When she is not in the counseling office or doing her graduate studies, she is encouraging one girl in competitive dance and her other daughter in basketball and soccer. Her daughters are the light of her life. Her family worships at their local church and she is a devoted Christ follower with a deep desire to help women heal from abusive relationships. Carrie always knew she wanted to help people heal and she knows God has set her on the path to being a Christian counselor. She is a pioneer and fits right in with us.
Carrie graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a BA in Psychology in December 2022 and anticipates graduating from Liberty University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She anticipates graduating in August 2025.
Carrie and her family volunteer at their church and enjoy traveling. Her family loves God adventures as they travel. Carrie has two dogs, Ollie and Pearl, and three cats, Simba, Natasha, and Louis.
Carrie will be accepting new clients beginning January 2025.
