Karen C. Albrecht is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). She has a dual Master of Science degree in Counseling and Vocational Evaluation. Karen has over 19 years of experience serving as a Deaf Blind Specialist, Rehabilitation Counselor, and Child Parent Psychotherapist to adults and children, and providing services for individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf Blind, and with multiple disabilities.
Karen has clinical experience working with adults, college students, and children experiencing adjustment issues, depression, trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, divorce, and substance abuse. She embraces a holistic approach to therapy by focusing on the application of God’s Word and walking in God’s Spirit. Karen is passionate about facilitating healing in clients based on a Gospel-oriented worldview. She is trained in several therapeutic modalities. Her primary techniques used are Redecision Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Heart Sync, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
