Carrie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA), licensed through the NC Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors. She holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a BA in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University.

Carrie has a special interest and significant volunteer experience working with children with autism, children in foster care, and children who have experienced trauma related to abuse (sexual/physical) or domestic violence. She is also passionate about supporting foster parents and adults who have experienced trauma.
Before entering the counseling field, Carrie built a career in television with NASCAR. She is a foster parent herself, as well as a mom to two biological daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys life with her dogs and cats, and is an active member of her church where she volunteers with the Children's Ministry.
Carrie continues to train in Redecision Therapy and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy into her work. Her areas of specialization include:
