The first time I came to see Barbara I was in desperate place. I had tried multiple other therapist's and types of counseling. Nothing was helping beyond essentially medicating the pain and trauma I was working through. By the time I reached her, it would've been similar to someone coming into the emergency room on a crash cart. Barely alive. I needed assistance to feed and dress myself and was not safe to drive a car. My first Intensive with Barbara put me on life support and gave me the first glimpse of Hope in many many months. I continued forward with her guidance and multiple Intensives to follow. I can honestly say that I am alive today as a result of her therapeutic techniques and work. I and my family will be forever grateful.

In our life, there’s one thing that’s a known fact… Jesus and Barbara Kohler have saved our marriage! Both my husband and I brought severe trauma (SRA, abandonment and attachment trauma) and PTSD from childhood into our marriage, which led to many trials and much hurt. However, thanks to our individual work with Barbara and the marriage intensives we have done, our marriage is stronger than ever. We went from turning against each other at every turn and constant abandonment, to turning toward each other and choosing to grow and heal together. We went from two broken and traumatized people trying to love each other, to truly being “one” and fulfilling the call of God on our lives. The structure of the marriage intensive was so helpful because we both got to do individual work while we were there, which increased the effectiveness of the time we had in session together. Barbara taught us so much helpful information as we went through the intensive, which helped equip us to be successful as we went home and continued on in our healing process. Also, the work in the Courts of Heaven that we did with Barbara has completely changed our life! The effectiveness of The Courts is undeniable and we have witnessed it over and over again! Barbara is truly led by The Lord, and the amount of honor and gratitude we have for her cannot be adequately explained in words. We truly went from hopeless to healing thanks to The Lord and Barbara Kohler!

I can’t say enough about all the healing sessions and intensives have done for me. This has been a six year journey and I have now completed two intensive sessions. The amount of work and healing that we were able to accomplish during these intensives was incredible! The intensive allowed us to go much deeper and pull out the roots of my triggers than what we could have done in an individual session. I can definitely tell a difference in my emotional, mental, and physical well being after my intensive. The progress that I have made has also been noticed by my wife.

The freedom I have encountered after doing work with Barbara and her staff is surreal! The way they incorporate healing as well as spiritual work is incredible. The Kohler Group is top notch and I would highly recommend. My only regret is that I did not start my healing journey sooner with them!
